Brightwater Aged Care
Janissen Electrics recently completed a lighting upgrade to Brightwater’s aged care facilities across Perth, working on behalf of Dawn Express. Our work incorporated a new lighting design and a KNX lighting control system which can be monitored remotely offsite, automated dimming with ambient light levels and dimmed at pre set times during the day. The automated system has seen a drastic improvement to lighting levels, increasing the comfort of staff and residents. Another benefit of the new fittings is a reduction in operating and maintenance costs. The project was completed while the site was live with residents in care. This required us to work closely with the client to ensure minimal disruption to operations, whilst completing our work on time, to budget and with a high finish. Having successfully achieved this, Janissen Electrics received a high commendation from the builder and client.
186 St Georges Terrace
Janissen Electrics supported works for this seven story building on St Georges Terrace in Perth CBD. Our scope of works included the removal of existing electrical infrastructure and installation of base build to the clients requirements.
Beechboro Primary School
Janissen Electrics rewired and provided an LED-upgrade for Beechboro Primary School’s Safeway Building.
Aranmore Catholic College
Cannington Library’s existing lights were a mixture of colours and type. Janissen Electrics provided sound advice to the client and proposed a conversion of the existing light fittings to LED. This provided a significant saving to alternative approaches to replace the entire existing fitting. Our LED conversion saw an increased light output, and colour uniformity throughout the library. The project required significant planning with the client due to the library operating hours. Janissen Electrics was able to mobilise enough labour resources to ensure the project was completed in the tight shutdown timeframe.
Janissen electrics was engaged to deliver the electrical infrastructure upgrade at Kalamunda Hospital, on behalf of the East Metropolitan Health services. This project incorporated manufacturing and replacing the site’s main switchboards. This work required electrical shutdowns to be performed, whilst keeping the hospital operations running at full capacity. We completed the project on time, budget, to a high standard with no disturbance to the hospital operations. Delivery required high level project management and open communication with all stakeholders to ensure success – a great project for our team to be involved in.
Our scope of services at Joondalup House included: the demolition of existing electrical services; base build and installation of electrical services for pre lease; and the modification of existing switchboard to incorporate new metering system. All works were completed on time, on budget and to a high standard.
